Creating an Excel file from a CSAR report
Step 1. Run a CSAR Report or any Colleague Report

Step 2. Click Save As after report has completed.

Step 3. Right click the Blue Download button and click save link as. | |
Step 4. Click the Save as type Drop Down and select All Files. Then add a .txt extension at the end of the file name. Once done you can click the save button. | |
Step 5. Open Excel and start a new worksheet.

Step 6. Click on the Data tab at the top of the worksheet. | |
Step 7. On the left there should be either a Get External Data drop down or an option that says From Text. If you see the Get External Data drop down menu click that and select From Text. If you see From Text just select it.

Step 8. Navigate to your saved .txt file and open it you should get the box that is shown on the right and select next. | |
Step 9. Add/Remove/Adjust break-lines to your liking and then select Finish. |
