This article will show you how to upload and open a Microsoft Word document in Google Drive. |
1. Click the Microsoft Word document you want to open in your Blackboard course (Microsoft Word documents will be in the .doc or .docx file format). |

2. The document will download to your computer. Most downloaded files go in your Download folder on your computer. | ||
3. Open a web browser and navigate to your Google Drive. |

4. In the upper left corner click New. Then click File Upload. |
|
|
5. Browse out on your computer and locate the downloaded Microsoft Word document. Then click Open. |

6. The file will upload into your Google Drive. |
|
|
|

7. The Microsoft Word file will then be converted so it is compatible with Google Docs. Any comments made on the document will appear to the right. |
