Faculty - Issues with Screen Sharing in Collaborate on a Mac with Catalina OS

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a web-based video conferencing tool. It is recommended that you use Google Chrome to run Collaborate.

If you are using a Mac computer and have already downloaded the Chrome Extension to allow for screen sharing and are still experiencing issues, please follow the steps below.

1. Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your computer.

Then select System Preferences.

2. Select Security and Privacy

3. Select the Privacy tab and scroll down from the list of options to the left and then select Screen Recording.

4. Check the box next to Google Chrome.

You will then be prompted to restart your browser.
