Faculty and Students  - Accessing Blackboard Collaborate Ultra

 

This article will walk you through how to access Blackboard Collaborate Ultra in your course for class.

The recommended browser for using Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is Google Chrome of Mozilla Firefox. 

 

Faculty - To access Blackboard Collaborate Ultra you must first add the tool to your course. For directions on how to add the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra tool, please view the following knowledgebase article; Faculty - Adding Blackboard Collaborate Ultra to your Course

 

1. Click the name of the link for Collaborate in your course. 

In this example, the Blackboard Collaborate Ultra space is "Virtual Office Hours."

 

2. Click the session you want to join.  

3. A pop-up window will appear.

Click Join Session

4. The session will load in a new tab in your browser.
