Student Educational Planning — My Progress

 

**OPTIONAL Information about what the article will explain to do, or a summary of the error that prompt the need for this article**

 

1. Once logged into Student Self-Service, make sure the Planning Overview tab is selected and choose View Your Progress  
Note: If this is not the correct major or you want to explore “what if” you changed majors, you can click “View a new program” as well.  

My Progress screen has the following data:

  1. Program and GPA information
  2. Progress towards credits required
  3. Status of the Course 
 

Under Status of the Course, you will be able to see which courses you:

  • have completed (green)
  • are currently taking (light green)
  • have planned (yellow)
  • haven’t yet taken (red)
 
3. To select a specific course and/or to read more about a course, click on the course number.  
Note:

If the program requirement asks for you to choose one of many choices, you can also use the “search” feature to see all your options and to read more about each course.

 
4. Once you have selected the courses for next semester, click Plan & Schedule  

 

Multiple Options

You may have several courses listed in a specific area, located directly above that list is the instructions on identifying which course you plan to take during your time at MCCC. 

 

1. Click on the Search button.  
2. You can either use the Filter Results option to identify a specific course and/or click Add Course to Plan button.  
3. From the drop down menu next to Term, select the desired semester.  
4. When finished, click the Add Course to Plan button.  

Note: Once you have added the course to your plan, you can return to My Progress to select another course and continue until you have selected all the courses you’d like to take in the upcoming semester.
