Reserving Clickers (CPS)

 

 

Clickers are still available via the Help Desk, but it is recommended that other in-class formative assessment options are utilized since the Clicker technology is no longer as widely supported. The Classroom Performance System (CPS), also known as "clickers" are handheld devices that allow students to respond to surveys or selected response questions as quick polls in class. In order to use Clickers with your class, you must reserve them by filling out a "Technical Equipment Request Form." This article will show you how to request Clickers and where you need to go to pick them up. 

Note: The CPS software must be installed on the computer in the classroom you are teaching in before you are able to use the Clickers. To get CPS installed on the classroom computer, contact the Help Desk.

 

1. Login to the Montco Connect Portal.  
2. Locate the Tools menu on the left hand side. Click the Forms drop down tab.

 

 

3. The forms are listed in alphabetical order. Scroll down and click Technical Equipment Request Form

4. The form will appear on your computer screen. Check the box next to Clickers. Then fill out of the rest of the form information.

5. Click the Submit button at the bottom of the form when you are finished.

6. You will receive confirmation of your request via the Help Desk.   
7. You may pick up the Clickers the day of the class in which you will be using the equipment.   
8. Please be sure to return the equipment to the Help Desk as soon as you are finished so others may reserve and use the Clickers.
