How can I avoid encountering the "Ping" error when I try to refresh reports in InfoView: ?
If you encounter this error, "InfoView cannot connect to the server. Close the report panel and try to connect again or see your administrator.", try the following steps in Internet Explorer:
- Log out of InfoView
- From your browser, go to Internet Options > Security
- Click on custom level Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section
- Under "Access data sources across domains ", select Enable
- Restart your browser
- Test by refreshing report again to see if you will encounter this issue again
