Faculty - Creating Blackboard Rubrics

Rubrics provide a guide or checklist to students and teachers on how the assignment will be graded.  This helps set the standards of what is expected in order to receive a grade for the assignment.  Rubrics are graded on a grid structure containing a column with expectations such as: the purpose, organization of the material, grammar/spelling, content accuracy, etc.  In addition each row is indicated by either points, percentages, bad through excellent, etc.

1. Click Course Tools under Control Panel
