Eduroam Access for Wireless Users
eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming wireless access service developed for the international research and education community. eduroam is an encrypted (WPA2) wireless service that is available on the MCCC campuses including; Central Campus, West Campus, Culinary Arts Institute, and Fire Academy.
eduroam allows students, researchers, faculty, and staff from MCCC to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop or supported mobile devices.

Using Secure Wireless - eduroam
PLEASE NOTE: BEFORE YOU TRAVEL, SET UP EDUROAM AT YOUR HOME CAMPUS (MCCC).
Before using the tool be sure that you know your MC3.EDU User Account, password, and have local admin rights on your computer.
SSID (Network Name): eduroam
Password: your normal mc3.edu issued password
Security Type: 802.1x
Data Encryption: AES
eduroam services are subject to the same rules and standards that are followed at MCCC. This includes the Technology Acceptable Use Policy.
Wireless coverage areas for eduroam are the same as it is for MC3WAVES on the MCCC campus. Wireless access points are installed in select interior locations on campus. The locations targeted for wireless coverage are areas where students and faculty gather.
