Creating and Processing Holidays in TimeCard Plus

Creating a Holiday

  1. Log into the TimeCard Plus system at www.mc3.edu/timeadmin
  2. Select Company > Holidays
  3. Click + Add
  4. Enter the holiday name in the Description field Description field
  5. Select the appropriate date or recurrence pattern
  6. Check  Include in holiday processing
  7. Select 105 - Holiday from the Job Code to add hours  field
  8. Click Work Filter
  9. Check Include specific job codes
  10. Click Select
  11. Select all job codes that will be paid for the holiday
    • Generally, this is all job codes EXCEPT part time (labeled PT or P/T)
  12. Click Filter  to save the selected job codes
  13. Click Save

Processing Holidays

Holidays should be automatically processed and added to full time employees time cards daily. If the holiday processing does not occur automatically, follow these steps.

  1. Log into the TimeCard Plus system at  www.mc3.edu/timeadmin
  2. Select Company > Holidays
  3. Click  Holiday Hours Processing
  4. Click Process Now

Editing hours for employees that worked a Holiday

Employees working a holiday are to be paid at 2.5x their normal hourly rate. The following steps should be performed AFTER the employee has clocked in and out for the holiday.

  1. Log into the TimeCard Plus system at  www.mc3.edu/timeadmin
  2. Select Hours > Individual Hours
  3. Select the appropriate employee
  4. If needed, select the appropriate date range and click Update
  5. Right-click the appropriate date and select Edit
  6. Select  201 - 2.5x Pay from the Job Code  field
  7. Click  Save
