Creating a Class Notebook - Desktop Version

 

Class Notebooks can be created from the Desktop version of OneNote. However, it is recommended that you create Class Notebooks from the online version. This article will show you how you can create a Class Notebook from the desktop version of OneNote.

 

1. Open OneNote on your computer.

 

 

3. OneNote will open to the most recent notebook you were in. Locate and click the Class Notebook tab. Then click Create A Class Notebook.

 

4. A browser window will open and take you to the online portion of Class Notebook. You will then be prompted to fill out the information required for creating a Class Notebook. When you are finished click Create.  Creating a new Class Notebook
5. You will be given the option to open the Class Notebook you created in the online or desktop version.  Open your newly created Class Notebook
