Colleague UI Will Not Launch Using Internet Explorer

 

What to do when Colleague will not launch in Internet Explorer

1. First try resetting the History and Advanced Settings. This can be done by going to Tools, Internet Options

 

2. Click Delete... and ensure:

  • Preserve Favorites website data is unchecked
  • The next three boxes are checked

Click the Delete button and wait for it to complete. Then click OK on the Internet Options box. 

 

3. Close Internet Explorer and try to log into Colleague again. If you are still receiving the error, proceed to the next step 
4. Again, go to Tools and Internet Options  

5. Click on the Advanced tab and click Restore Advanced Settings followed by Reset...

Once complete, click OK

 

6. Close Internet Explorer and try to log into Colleague again. If you are still receiving the error, proceed to the next step  
7. Go to Start, All Programs, Microsoft Silverlight and click on Microsoft Silverlight  

8. Click the Permissions tab and remove any listed sites. Click OK.   

9. Close Internet Explorer and try to log into Colleague again. If the issue persists, please call us at 215-641-6495 or connect with us live at https://support.mc3.edu
