Options For Colleague Background Processes
Running a Colleague report or process in Background mode allows the process to continue running even if your Colleague session is ended. Executing in background mode is encouraged if you are running a process or report that is expected to take a long time to finish (i.e. 1-2+ hours).
If a user attempts to schedule any job in background they will have two options “E Envision process handler” and “I immediate execution”. |

|
- Selecting Envision process handler requires completion of date and time parameters.
- Selecting Immediate execution will start the process immediately in the background.
