In-Class Formative Assessment Options

There are a number of free, web-based in-class formative assessment tools that can be used to replace the previous technology known as Clickers. These tools are free to use and/or download and require faculty and/or students to use a mobile device or laptop.

Please reach out to the Help Desk (helpdesk@mc3.edu) to schedule an appointment with an Instructional Designer if you are interested in learning more about these tools.

Plickers

Plickers is a free printable card activity that allows you to use your mobile device to check student comprehension. Live stream student answers on the board in the classroom so you can discuss the results with the class.
