Setting up Outlook on macOS devices

Student Email Transition FAQ


If you're running Mac OS X version 10.10 or later, follow these steps to set up an Exchange email account:

  1. Open Mail, and then do one of the following:

    • If you've never used Mail to set up an email account, the Welcome to Mail page opens. Go to step 2.

    • If you've used Mail to create email accounts, select Mail > Add Account.

  2. Select Exchange > Continue.

  3. Enter the name (e.g. Student Outlook, Montco Email, etc.) and email address (e.g. for your Exchange account > Sign In > Sign In.

  4. Enter your Username (e.g. jsmith1111) and Password when prompted > Sign In
  5. Choose the Mac apps you want to use with this account. Available choices are MailContactsCalendarReminders, and Notes.

  6. Click Done.
