Proxy Account Access
Federal law and the Montgomery County Community College FERPA policy prevents disclosure of student educational record information to third parties except in certain specified circumstances. However, students may grant access to such information to other individuals through the use of the Proxy Account Access system. In such a situation, a person (referred to as the proxy) is granted electronic access to student records such as the student class schedule, billing information, financial aid information, or grades.
Through this Proxy Account Access system, students have the ability to specify who may be granted this access and what records are electronically made available. The student has the right to rescind access granted at any time.
Instructions for granting proxy access can be found at Granting Proxy Account Access.
Instructions on How to Set Up a Parent Proxy Account can be followed here.
