Changing Your Network Password on OS X

Changing Your Network Password on OS X

This article explains how to change your network password on OS X. These steps demonstrate changing your password on OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), but are similar on other versions of OS X.

NOTE: Please work through these steps while on campus and connected to the College network.

1.      1. Click on the Apple in the upper left corner and click System Preferences.

2.      2. Click Users & Groups

3.      3. Highlight your user account and click Change Password

4.      4. Enter your old password, then your new password twice and a password hint if you choose (Please don’t make this your password!) and click Change Password

5.      If you are prompted to also change your Keychain password, please do so. Otherwise, you will be prompted to enter your Keychain password (which will be your old password).
