Creating and Processing Holidays in TimeCard Plus
Creating a Holiday
- Log into the TimeCard Plus system at www.mc3.edu/timeadmin
- Select Company > Holidays
- Click
- Enter the holiday name in the Description field
- Select the appropriate date or recurrence pattern
- Check
- Select 105 - Holiday from the
field
- Click
- Check
- Click
- Select all job codes that will be paid for the holiday
- Generally, this is all job codes EXCEPT part time (labeled PT or P/T)
- Click
to save the selected job codes
- Click
Processing Holidays
Holidays should be automatically processed and added to full time employees time cards daily. If the holiday processing does not occur automatically, follow these steps.
- Log into the TimeCard Plus system at www.mc3.edu/timeadmin
- Select Company > Holidays
- Click
- Click
Editing hours for employees that worked a Holiday
Employees working a holiday are to be paid at 2.5x their normal hourly rate. The following steps should be performed AFTER the employee has clocked in and out for the holiday.
- Log into the TimeCard Plus system at www.mc3.edu/timeadmin
- Select Hours > Individual Hours
- Select the appropriate employee
- If needed, select the appropriate date range and click
- Right-click the appropriate date and select Edit
- Select 201 - 2.5x Pay from the
field
- Click
