Students - My Grades: How to Check Grades and Feedback
This article will walk you through how to view your grades and feedback posted by your instructor in Blackboard via the "My Grades" link in your course navigation menu. |
Locating and Accessing your Grades
Your grades and feedback from your instructor are available in the "My Grades" link on your course navigation menu. The instructions below will show you how to locate your grades. |
1. Go into the course in Blackboard where you want to view your grades. |

2. Locate and click the My Grades link from the course navigation menu on the left. A list of all of the assessments in your course will appear. You will see the name of the assessment and the score you received. To view detailed information, such as instructor feedback, view the directions below. |

Viewing Assignment Grades and Feedback
Viewing Assignment grades and feedback is a different process from viewing Test grades and feedback. The directions below will walk you through how to view Assignment grades and feedback via "My Grades." |
1. Go into the course in Blackboard where you want to view your Assignment grade and feedback. | ||
2. Click the My Grades link from the course navigation menu on the left. | ||
3. Locate the Assignment that you want to view and click on the name of the Assignment. Note: You can also click the blue speech bubble next to your grade to view additional feedback from your instructor. |
4. If you submitted a Word document (.doc or .docx), PowerPoint (.ppt or. pptx) or PDF (.pdf), you will be taken to a feedback screen that will show you your grade, a preview of the document you submitted with any comments or feedback from your instructor.

5. If you wish to download a copy of your document, under Submission, click the gray down arrow next to the name of the document you submitted. Select either Download Original File which downloads the original document you submitted or Download Annotated PDF which downloads the file you submitted with instructor comments. Any feedback or comments can be seen under the Feedback to Learner space or directly on the document. The document you submitted can be downloaded or Saved as an Artifact for future reference. |

Viewing Test Grades and Feedback
Viewing Test grades and feedback is a different process from viewing Assignment grades and feedback. The directions below will walk you through how to view Test grades and feedback via "My Grades." |
1. Go into the course in Blackboard where you want to view your Assignment grade and feedback. | ||
2. Click the My Grades link from the course navigation menu on the left. | ||
3. Locate the Test that you want to view and click on the name of the Test.
Note: You can also click the blue speech bubble next to your grade to view additional feedback from your instructor. |
4. On the View Attempts page, locate and click the score you received under the Calculated Grade column under Attempts. |
5. You will now be taken to the Review Test Submission page where you can see your overall score, time spent on the test, and feedback from your instructor. You will also see your score per question. You may also see the answers your got correct and incorrect if your instructor allows this view. |
Viewing Discussion Board Grades and Feedback
Viewing your Discussion Board grades and feedback is similar to how you view your Assignment grades and feedback. The directions below will walk you through how to view your Discussion Board grades in "My Grades." |
1. Go into the course in Blackboard where you want to view your Assignment grade and feedback. | ||
2. Click the My Grades link from the course navigation menu on the left. | ||
3. Locate the Discussion Board that you want to view and click on the name of the Discussion Board.
Note: You can also click the blue speech bubble next to your grade to view additional feedback from your instructor. |
4. You will now see all of the posts you made to the Discussion Board as well as the grade and feedback your instructor provided. |
