Faculty - Issues with Screen Sharing in Collaborate on a Mac with Catalina OS
Blackboard Collaborate Ultra is a web-based video conferencing tool. It is recommended that you use Google Chrome to run Collaborate. If you are using a Mac computer and have already downloaded the Chrome Extension to allow for screen sharing and are still experiencing issues, please follow the steps below. |
1. Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of your computer. Then select System Preferences. |
2. Select Security and Privacy. |
3. Select the Privacy tab and scroll down from the list of options to the left and then select Screen Recording. |
4. Check the box next to Google Chrome. You will then be prompted to restart your browser. |
