Faculty - The Retention Center in Blackboard
The Retention Center is a tool that is available in Blackboard that helps you identify which students in your course are at risk. Use the information to communicate with students that are struggling and to keep track of patterns over time. You can also use the Retention Center to monitor students who are doing well in your course by customizing the Retention Center rules. This article will show you how to access the Retention Center and what the information means in the Retention Center. |

1. Once in your Blackboard course, under Course Management click Evaluation. Then click Retention Center. |

2. You will now see the Retention Center. There are 4 main areas of the Retention Center:

3. When you are finished you can navigate to another area in your course or close out of Blackboard all together. |
