Faculty - Creating a Retention Center Rule in Blackboard
The Retention Center in Blackboard allows you modify and create rules. This article will walk you through how to create your own retention center rules. There are four default categories that rules fall under; course activity rule, grade rule, course access rule, or missed deadline rule. Rules can be created to monitor at-risk students and students that are performing well in your course. |
1. Under Course Management, click Evaluation then Retention Center. |
2. Click the Customize button in the upper right-hand corner. |
3. In the upper left-hand corner click Create Rule. |
4. A drop down menu will appear. Select which type of rule you want to add.
5. Enter the Rule Information and Rule Criteria.
6. Click Submit when you are finished. |
