Customize your SMART Notebook Toolbar

You have the ability to customize the toolbar in SMART Notebook. Add shortcut icons to the toolbar to gain quick access to the tools you use the most. Any tools you add to the toolbar will remain every time you open SMART Notebook on your computer. 

Please be aware that customizing the toolbar on SMART Notebook from your office computer will not reflect in SMART Notebook on classroom computers.

 

1. Open SMART Notebook on your computer.  
2. In the upper right-hand corner locate and click the Customize toolbar icon.  Customize SMART Notebook toolbar icon.
3. A pop-up window will appear. You are given the option to add items to the toolbar from 3 categories: Actions, Add-On's, and Tools.

4. Select the item you want to add to the toolbar and drag and drop it in a highlighted location.

5. The item will be added to the toolbar and remain there every time you open SMART Notebook on your computer.
