Annotating a Word Document on the SMART Board

  1. Open your Word document.
  2. Pick up a pen from the pen tray. This will activate the Ink Tools / Pens tab in Word.
  3. Click on the Ink Tools / Pens tab.

    This shows the Ink Tools / Pens tab on the ribbon in Word and highlights the pen and highlighter selections.

  4. You can now use the pens in the pen tray to make your annotations on your Word document.
