Students - Connecting to Zoom Meetings via Blackboard or a Web Link
This article will show you how to connect to a Zoom meeting via your course in Blackboard or a meeting web link that was provided to you. Your instructor may ask you to join a Zoom meeting in your course in Blackboard or they may invite you via a link that may be sent to your College email. |
Step 1: Navigate to Zoom within your Blackboard course unless the link was sent to you via Email. (Note in step one the Meeting ID this may be needed later). Click on the Join option. | |
Step 2: Join the meeting from either option: Join From Browser: to join the meeting through your Internet browser Open Zoom: to join the meeting through the Zoom computer application. |

Step 3: Select the Sign in with SSO option. | |
Step 4: Type in the domain that appears in the image "mc3-edu" and select continue. | |
Step 5: Sign in with your MCCC Credentials. | |
Step 6: Your profile page should appear you then have the option of navigating back to Blackboard and selecting Join Meeting as shown in step 1 or you can click the Join A Meeting option which is highlighted. | |
Step 7: Type in the meeting ID you've obtained from your Blackboard course and click join. (This step is only required if you clicked the Join a Meeting option on your profile page as seen in step 6). |

Step 8: You will be shown the same screen as step 2 just click on "Join from your browser" and the meeting should load. | |
Step 9: If applicable, you may need to wait for your instructor to pull you into the meeting from the waiting room. |
