Faculty - Adding Zoom to your Course in Blackboard
Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool that is available for you to use in your courses in Blackboard.
This article will walk you through how to add the Zoom link to your course.
1. Go into the course in Blackboard where you want to add Zoom. |

2. In the left navigation menu, locate and click the " + " in the upper left corner. Then click Tool Link. |

3. Next to Type, click the drop down menu and select Zoom Classroom.

4. Give the Zoom Classroom link a name. Check the box next to Available to Users. Then click Submit |
|
5. The link to your Zoom Classroom tool will appear at the bottom of your Course Navigation Menu on the left.

6. Click the name you gave your Zoom Classroom link to access Zoom. A notification will appear prompting you to navigate to your College email for information on next steps. Note: If prompted for the MCCC zoom URL, it is mc3-edu.zoom.us |

7. Navigate to your College email and locate the email from Zoom. Then click the Activate your Zoom Account button within the email. |

8. A new tab will open on your browser. Click Sign in with SSO. |
|
9. You will now be taken to your MCCC Zoom account. Navigate back to your course in Blackboard where you added the Zoom link to setup your meeting. Please follow the directions on Creating a Zoom Meeting in your Course to setup your meetings. |
