Faculty and Students - Insert a YouTube Video Within a Blackboard Wiki or Blog

One of the benefits to a wiki or blog is that you can insert videos that pertain to the content of your wiki or blog. Often times a video could enhance the content of your wiki or blog entry.

1.  Edit or create a page/entry within your wiki or blog.

2.  Place your cursor in the content space where you want to insert the video.

3.  Click the Mashup button then select YouTube Video.

4.  Type in keyword(s) in the Search field then click Go. After a few minutes, videos related to your keyword(s) will display.

5.  Click Select on the video that you want to insert.

6.  You will then be able to choose various Mashup options and preview the video.

7.  If you wish to select a different video, click the Back button or to insert the video, click Submit.
