Students - What Happens if LockDown Browser is Not Used to Take a Test When it is Required?
If students do not use LockDown Browser to take a test in Blackboard that requires the use of LockDown Browser than students will be asked to enter a password. LockDown Browser uses a specific password that is unknown to students. therefore students will be unable to access the test with a standard Internet browser.
What if my Instructor Setup a Test with a Password? If your instructor requires a password in order to take a test in Blackboard then the password the instructor selected will not work. You must use LockDown Browser in order to take the test.
Note: This only occurs if your instructor requires LockDown Browser to be used with a test. You will know if your test requires LockDown Browser when the words "Requires Respondus LockDown Browser" appear after the test title. |
