How to Access Accessible Files in Blackboard

Blackboard uses a tool called Ally to scan Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and PDF files for accessibility. Students can easily download these files in alternative file formats. 

1.  Navigate to the file that you want to download in an alternative file format.

2.  Click the icon to the right of the file.

3.  Select the format you want then click the Download button.

List of alternative formats include tagged pdf, HTML, ePub, Electronic braille and audio
