Faculty and Staff - Initiating the Application Repair Process
Some applications on College PC's may be running slowly for you. A repair process has been created in order to fix this issue. This article will show you have to initiate a repair process that will help the applications on your College PC run more smoothly. Please be aware that this process will require you to reboot your computer. Note: This process only pertains to those using a College PC device. |
1. Click the Help Desk icon on your computer's Desktop. |

2. A new window will appear. Select Software Center from the list. |
|
|
3. Another new window will appear. You will be taken to the Applications tab. From the Applications tab you will see either Faculty or Staff Application Repair Reboot. Note: You will either have a Faculty or Staff option from the Software Center. This is dependent upon your role at the College. Staff includes Administrators and Part-Time employees. |

4. Select the Install button. |

5. A pop-up message will appear asking you to Save and Close any programs or work you currently have open. Once finished saving and closing your work, select OK. |

|
6. Once the process is complete, your computer will automatically reboot. Please do not open any applications until after your computer reboots. |
